From The A1 north and south - take the exit marked for Seahouses ( there are three comparable routes off the A1but I generally take the option market Christon Bank) . Follow the signs for Seahouses and then North Sunderland. Once you arrive in North Sunderland just follow the road through the village and just as you reach the sign post from Seahouses you will find Saltwell Cottage the first house on your left. Alternatively, if you arrive via Seahouses village centre, continue up Main Street andwe are the last cottage on the right before you reach the sign for North Sunderland.
As another option you may choose to drive the beautiful Northumberland coastal route which heading from the south takes you through some of the most gorgeous seaside villages with views out over the Coquet and Farne Islands.
