Gorgeous fully renovated detached cottage in the heart of the bustling seaside village of Seahouses.  The property has undergone extensive renovation to provide a stylish, luxury four bedroom, four bathroom cottage with sunny gardens to the front and rear. 

A spacious open plan living, dining, kitchen with bi fold doors leading on to the garden with sunny patio, provides the ideal sociable living space for a holiday with family or friends.

At Saltwell Cottage, there are four bedrooms, three king size with en-suite bathrooms and a twin (full size adult singles) which has use of the family bathroom together with free standing bath and walk in shower.

There is off street parking for up to three cars.

The cottage is very well located; only a short five minutes walk down the main street or the Heritage Path to the beautiful beaches of Seahouses and its bustling harbour.  The cottage is close to the village shops, delis, cafes, pubs, restaurants and club and of course Seahouses' many award winning fish and chip shops!

Some of the beautiful villages of the north Northumberland coast are just a few miles away.  Both Bamburgh and Beadnell are less than three miles in either direction and are accessible by foot along a sealed path.  The town of Alnwick, with its 'Harry Potter' castle and stunning Alnwick Gardens is only a 20 minute drive and the glorious Cheviot Hills can be easily reached from the cottage. 

Or if you just want to stay put, Seahouses has loads to offer from boat trips to the Farne Islands, crabbing on the harbour, boarding in the dunes to crazy golf and amusements. Topped off with some popular bars and restaurants.

Golf enthusiasts will love Seahouses golf club, enviably positioned on the links overlooking the Farne Islands.

From The A1 north and south - take the exit marked for Seahouses ( there are three comparable routes off the A1 but I generally take the option market Christon Bank) . Follow the signs for Seahouses and then North Sunderland.  Once you arrive in North Sunderland just follow the road through the village and just as you reach the sign post from Seahouses you will find Saltwell Cottage the first house on your left. Alternatively, if you arrive via Seahouses village centre, continue up Main Street and we are the last cottage on the right before you reach the sign for North Sunderland.

As another option you may choose to drive the beautiful Northumberland coastal route which heading from the south takes you through some of the most gorgeous seaside villages with views out over the Coquet and Farne Islands.
